Jumblio Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 22, 2026
This policy explains which data is processed when you use the Jumblio iOS app, why, and what your rights are.
1. Who we are
Jumblio is published by Com'Bast, 05000 Gap, France, the data controller for the processing described below.
Contact: contact@combast.fr
2. Summary
- No account, no sign-up. You play without giving a name, e-mail address or password.
- Your progress stays on your iPhone. Games, scores, streaks, XP, badges and settings are not sent to our servers. We cannot access them.
- Purchases are paid through Apple and verified by our service provider RevenueCat.
- Ads are provided by Google AdMob. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, you choose what you accept in Google's consent form, and you can change your mind at any time.
- We do not sell any data. The app does not track you across other apps: it does not ask for Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission.
3. Data kept only on your device
This data is stored only on your iPhone, in the app's storage:
- your games and their results (points, words found or skipped, hints used, time);
- your progress: level, XP, daily streaks, badges, statistics;
- a game in progress, so you can resume it;
- your settings, for example the daily reminder and its time.
We do not receive this data. To delete it: app Settings > Reset progress, or uninstall the app.
Reminders: if you turn on the daily challenge reminder, notifications are scheduled locally on your iPhone, with your permission. No server is used. You can turn them off in the app or in iOS Settings.
4. In-app purchases (Apple and RevenueCat)
Purchases (Jumblio+, Remove ads, themed packs) are paid to Apple. We never receive your payment details.
To verify purchases, unlock them and allow restoring them, the app uses RevenueCat, Inc. (United States), our service provider. RevenueCat processes:
- an anonymous identifier generated by the app (it contains neither your name nor your e-mail);
- purchase information: product, date, price, currency, storefront country, Apple transaction identifiers;
- technical information: device model, iOS version, app version and language, IP address.
Purpose: delivering purchases and allowing them to be restored.
Legal basis: performance of the purchase contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

5. Advertising (Google AdMob)
If you have not bought "Remove ads" or Jumblio+, the app shows ads provided by Google AdMob (Google Ireland Limited for the European Economic Area):
- a banner on the results screen;
- ads between two games;
- optional videos you choose to watch in exchange for a benefit (extra hints, double XP, trying a pack).
No ad is ever shown during a round.
Consent: in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, a Google form asks for your consent before any ad. You can change your choices at any time in app Settings > Ad privacy choices.
Data processed by Google, under Google's own rules: IP address (including approximate location), technical information about the device and the app, technical identifiers, and your interactions with ads. The app does not request access to Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA). Depending on your consent choices, ads may or may not be personalised.
Purposes: showing ads, limiting how often they repeat, measuring their performance and preventing fraud.
Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) where required. Some of Google's processing may rely on its legitimate interest, as shown in the consent form.
All ads are limited to content suitable for a general audience.

- No selling or renting of data.
- No tracking across apps or websites (as defined by Apple).
7. Transfers outside the European Union
RevenueCat and Google may process data outside the European Union, including in the United States. These transfers rely on the safeguards provided by the GDPR, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, as described by each provider.
8. Retention
- Data on your iPhone: until you delete it (reset or uninstall).
- Purchase data at RevenueCat: as long as needed to provide and restore your purchases and to meet legal and accounting obligations.
- Advertising data at Google: for the periods stated in Google's Privacy Policy.
9. Children
Jumblio is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Ads are limited to content suitable for all audiences.
10. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:
- access, rectification and erasure;
- restriction of processing, objection and data portability;
- withdrawing your consent at any time.
How to exercise them:
- Data on your iPhone: you control it directly in the app (reset) or by uninstalling it.
- Purchase data (RevenueCat): write to contact@combast.fr. We will handle your request with our service provider.
- Advertising: change your choices in app Settings > Ad privacy choices. For data held by Google, you can also use the tools listed in Google's Privacy Policy.
You can also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. In France, this is the CNIL: https://www.cnil.fr
11. Security
Data stored on your device benefits from iOS protections. Communication with our service providers is encrypted (HTTPS).
